The Simba Group of Companies in Nigeria, started their operations in 1987, beginning as a trading company under the name Wandel International, and latter growing into a professional marketing and distribution company.

As the divisions grew, and the product lines increased to a level where they sustained themselves, the distinctive marketing and trading businesses of the Group split into Wandel International and Tonilla Nigeria Ltd. - allowing the individual companies to be governed by separate strategies.

In 2005, Simba Industries was launched in view of the government’s drive for industrialisation and its commitments to the manufacturing sector.

Meanwhile, as a group that continuously looks to expand and diversify, it has set up two ICT subsidiaries: Simba Technology (Nigeria) Ltd provides clients with integrated software solutions, and SimbaNet (Nigeria) Ltd provides clients with complete communications infrastructure, including all voice/data transmission utilizing wireless, broadband and V-Sat solutions.
